Introduction to Human Rights Information on the Web

Among the most prevalent human rights documents available on the web are conventions and treaties, reports on human rights violations in specific countries, human rights news and actions on behalf of victims of human rights violations, death penalty information. You can also find reports and decisions from international bodies and tribunals of inquiry, national legislation and jurisprudence, articles on general human and civil rights issues, and information which is issue specific (for example, Children's Rights, Indigenous People's Rights).

(I wish to acknowledge my debt to Margarita Lacabe, of Derechos Human Rights, who compiled the Concise Guide to Human Rights on the Internet, from which I have gathered inspiration and information). You may access this site at http://www.derechos.org
